2. Personal information we collect

  • Identity and contact details — name, phone number, email address, company name.
  • Vehicle and job details — make, model, registration, fault descriptions, service history.
  • Enquiry content — messages sent through our contact form, email, or WhatsApp.
  • Technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser type, pages visited.

We do not collect or store card or bank details. Payment information is collected and processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

  • To respond to enquiries and quote for work — performance of a contract or steps taken at your request.
  • To carry out repairs, servicing and roadside assistance — performance of a contract.
  • To keep service records and invoices — legal obligation and legitimate interests.
  • To secure the site and prevent fraud or abuse — legitimate interests.
  • To improve our services and website — legitimate interests.
  • To send marketing or service reminders — consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Who we share it with

  • Service providers and subprocessors — website hosting, email, and support tooling.
  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for order processing, payments, subscription management, invoicing and tax compliance.
  • Parts suppliers and specialist subcontractors, where needed to complete a repair.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and legal advisers.
  • Authorities and regulators where we are required to do so by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside our country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, to protect your information.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months and job, invoice and warranty records for as long as required for tax, accounting and warranty purposes (typically five years). After that, information is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability. You may also withdraw consent where we rely on it, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Email globaldieselautotechs@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encrypted connections, access controls and limited staff access — to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
